This is a great pattern. I took it out of one of the Bead & Button magazine. I will have to look it up but can't find the magazine.
This was done with turquoise chips in the original pattern but I had just purchased some butter amber. Don't you love it? I used pearls, garnet, aquamarine, citrine, ametrine and several other 3mm and 4mm gem stones with the chips. Not difficult at all and I was able to use some beads that were left over from other projects.

hello, i love that amber necklace you made. i am also into beadwork but still an amateur. apart from my being an amateur, there is a difficulty of finding time to hone my skills because i am stuck with so many school works. i also kept copies of those beadwork magazines in case i could find time to sit down and do my beadwork, though, i do have some suff i did and i usually wear them, some of my friends thought that i bought it, they are simple though beyond comparison to that amber necklace. i really love it.
I love it. Amber is one of my favorites.
